I’ve had Seth’s newest book sitting on the floor by my desk for a couple of weeks now; you’ve really piqued my interest to pick it up and get going on it! His book “Tribes” was the one that encouraged me to form my brainstorming groups for entrepreneurs – my peeps!

The biggest productivity tool for me has been a strong filter. It’s more an attitude or discipline than a “system.”

We are all inundated with more information than we have time to process — and there are just lots of things that may be interesting but will probably not have impact on the business. The key is to let some things go — in order to focus on those things that really matter to us and our clients.

I allow myself 30 to 45 minutes each day to read non-essential emails. Messages like this newsletter that may well give me new food for thought.

I agree with you about STUFF. I keep promising myself to destuff the place soon. But what is the purpose in running out of toilet paper? It’s something you will be using for the rest of your life. To truly appreciate its value, travel sometime to a third world country.

Seriously, I enjoyed your rant – you do have a talent here, and make a good point.

Just last week I noticed how much wrapping stuff came with a lunch that my wife and I ordered from a restaurant in Birkdale – it covered the table – and then some. Argh!!! Too much stuff. We couldn’t find a place to put the food!

Anyhow, keep tickling those keys. You are doing a nice job!
